Offering an antique Russian 12 x 9.5 inch Icon . The icon is painted on wood of Mary holding the infant Jesus. The approximate measurements are: 12 h x 9.5 w x 1 d inches This is a beautiful old icon has gorgeous vibrant colors painted on wood. It has is very well preserved although there is some light chipping and wear commensurate with age. Please look closely at the photos to evaluate the painting. There is some cracking of the paint and light chipping in the painted gold surrounding framebut the figures of Mary and Jesus themselves are in good condition with 3 minor white flakes on their clothing. ​It is painted on a 1 inch thick plank of wood.
